I Always Watch Deleted Scenes

What would happen if the Shins did a lot of hallucinogens? I'm not too sure, but something tells me that DC's Deleted Scenes might know. You see, this four piece play laid back, uber hazy pop that will remind you of Oh Inverted World if it were an even lazier moodier classic.

Their album, Birdseed Shirt, complete with a crazy title, is filled with songs that will remind you of days spent on Allegra. In other words, it's packed to the rafters with spring filled happy/sad tunes that are quirky, lethargic, and a little drugged out. It's quite good stuff that's perfect for driving to and from your allergist or just hanging out.

Deleted Scenes will embark on a series of a dozen or so dates throughout May and June in support of Birdseed Shirt. And guess what...we here in Jacksonville will be lucky enough to see them live in June.
